The goal of Miracles Global is to give back.  We do this by donating goods and services to local non-profits, schools, and churches.  We would like to help anyone who is trying to improve the lives of others as well as perform our own out-reach.  When Miracles Global first began, we discovered the most important gift of all is time.  We have worked with Cooper Hospital's pediatric unit.  We were amazed to see how happy the children were to simply see us there.  We played video games, board games, puzzles, and talked with the children.  The kids had a blast spending time and having fun with us during a difficult time.  During the Holiday Season of 2008, we teamed up with the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and threw an event for the students of Holy Name School. We also donated toys to the Cathedral for their Holiday Toy drive. We found these experiences rewarding and have been giving ever since.

Current Programs:

Help Haiti at Rutgers

In response to the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on Tuesday, January 12.  Miracles Global is working in collaboration with Rutgers Camden's Office of Campus Involvement to raise funds for the relief effort.  In exchange for donations, the we will be distrbuting Help Haiti stickers and magnets.  "Support Haiti" wristbands will also be provided. All proceeds will go to a secure Rutgers account. Funds from this account will be dispersed to aid organizations.   Help Haiti at Rutgers will continue until at least the end of the 2010 semester.

One donation. Many Smiles

Miracles Global participates in a series of drives supporting local organizations.  Thus far we have held both clothing and school supply drives.

Summer School Supply Drive

In the Summer of 2009, Miracles Global held its first successful school supply drive.  We received recognition from both the City of Camden as well as the New Jersey State Legislature for our successful effort.  Supplies were donated to The Walter Rand Institute, the Camden District III DCCB, and individuals who held private back-to-school events in the city. We plan to hold this drive every Summer.

Winter Clothing Drive

In fall of 2009, Miracles Global held its first clothing drive.  The goal is to collect clothes for the upcoming Winter.  Though Winter clothing is encouraged, all clothing donations will be accepted and appreciated. The drive will continue through December 15. Clothes are donated to The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the Clothing Center on Market St in Camden, NJ. Our drop point is on the second floor of Rutgers Camden's Paul Robeson Library in the Honors College section.

LEAP Academy After-School Program

During Spring 2009, Miracles Global began its partnership with LEAP Academy.  On Monday through Thursday, Miracles offers tutoring and homework help for LEAP Academy's Elementary and High School.

Miracles Global and Cooper Hospital's Child Life Program

As previously mentioned, Miracles Global has been a frequent visitor of Cooper Hospital's Children's Regional Hospital.  We do a variety of fun activities with the patients.  The purpose of this program is to alleviate the stresses that a child may experience while in the hospital.
